The Euridice Network started at the end of a multi-annual programme of transfer of the Euridice project which was firstly developed and implemented in Italy, to all the Member States, and partly funded by the European Commission.
The Euridice Network promotes an integrated and innovative approach to the issue of prevention and drugs demand reduction in the workplace. It aims to fill a knowledge gap of the scientific literature and the social policies of the European Commission and the Member States. It promotes the assessment of efficacy of preventive intervention and the study of the impact that prevention has on the enterprise factors and on the various learning processes.
Moreover, the Network publishes the online journal "Substances ant work". The journal provides the Community and its Member States with objective, reliable information concerning drugs and drug addiction and their consequences in the workplace and in the workforce.
